A call is issued for nominations of candidates for the ECTP-NETZSCH Young Scientist Award to be given during ECTP 2008. The Award consists of a certificate and a cash prize. The award intends to recognize exceptional scientific achievement in any area of thermophysical properties research by a young person. The recipient should be no more than 40 years of age at the time of award presentation. The application can be made either personally or by a sponsor(s). Nominations of candidates for this award are to be submitted in writing to the Chairman of the ECTP 2008. Each nomination should be accompanied by a detailed description of the achievements of the nominee, a CV and a list of publications. Selection of the recipient of the award will be made by the Award Committee in consultation with the IOC of the ECTP. The presentation of the Award will take place in a Special Session during the ECTP.
